Our second project of freshman year was to make a video to help the athletic side of San Marin. So we could choose any sport that is played in San Marin and we chose diving. In the video we talk about the proper mechanics to execute a dive. Our group was made up of Ashok (speaker) Rachel (researcher) and me (the presentation master)
Concepts
Horizontal velocity: The velocity of an object going horizontal to the ground, ours was 6.3 m/s Vertical velocity: The velocity of an object going vertically compared to the ground the velocity of the diver was 3.1m/s Force: Something that causes change in motion, the force of the diver pushing off was 1343N
Some of the things we could have worked on were getting real life video, making crisper voice overs, and better time management. Some of the things we did well were having a lot of pictures while most of the talking was going on, making clear instruction, and keeping the video short. Some things i learned were that screwing off just gets you behind and that if you need a group member to do something always have a backup plan if it doesn't happen. To improve my self next time i should put down my phone and be more involved
